Dave Cameron of fangraphs.com ranks Philadelphia’s Dominic Brown as the 50th most valuable trade commodity in all of Major League Baseball. Among the interesting points that Cameron makes are that Brown is considered by many to be the best prospect still in the minor leagues (somebody please take Raul Ibanez off our hands), that he could be a solid Major League player “tomorrow”, and that you must have some serious value if your organization is unwilling to trade you straight up for the “best pitcher in baseball” (Roy Halladay).
