Donvan McNabb is once again saying all the right thing as the Eagles continue to load up on quarterbacks that the Philadelphia fans will clamor for as his ouster. Through his Yardbarker blog, Mcnabb said “It’s too early to tell whether I might be able to play this week due to my rib injury. Sunday is a long way away. I will work with the trainers to do my best to be ready. Like the rest of the team, I have confidence that Kevin will do well if called upon. Adding Jeff Garcia to the roster is a great idea. He knows our offense and how we do things around here. He’s a great teammate and I look forward to working with him again.”
In the case of Michael Vick, though I highly doubt it, I could be persuaded to entertain the thought that #5 was on board. This time, re-signing Jeff Garcia, there’s no doubt in my mind that he’s a at best discontented…at worst, infuriated.
Vick is ready. Gracia is the logical choice at this point. This really hurts. It breaks my heart but I am a Philly Kid.
