Batista doesn’t excite me at all. The other three (Meche, Bannister, Wang) would be decent stopgaps but nothing special. With Arizona being 17 games below .500 I wonder if there’s any way to pry Haren away from them. I know they’ve said in the past that he’s not on the market but they’re pretty bad and need a lot of pieces.
