Cheeks likes to go small a lot, I can see Williams, Ivey and Iggy on the floor with Brand and Sammy or Miller, Rush and Williams with Young and Brand..there is so much that Mo can do, he’ll go with the hot hand I assume.

There are no minutes to go around. I just have to assume these guys all know they are coming in as role players and should be fine with it. If you look at the guard positions, Iguodala and Miller will have to play 34 minutes a piece at the very least. That only leaves 28 minutes…Louis Williams will take up most of them! Sure players will swing between the 2-3 and we’ll see some creativity, but Ivey, Rush, and Green can’t expect too much PT.

Barring injuries (which of course you can’t do)– the bench is too deep– how do you get quality minutes for all these decent but not great vets? I see a very difficult chemistry forming– Rush is a good player but he will sulk and hurt the team.

Agreed. On my post of the story on the Donyell Marshall signing, i noted that John Hollinger has Willie Green rated as one of the 10 worst players in the league in terms of production per 40 minutes. (And as one of the 10 most overrated, as well)
