Agree or disagree? What guess did I leave off that you think should be on the team. Check back later for my post-game changes and comments from the Eagles – Panthers first-half.

What’s up with Tony Hunt?
From what I hear, he isnt making the team. Third round BUST.
I thought McDougle was a potentail cut, how’s he starting all of the sudden. I thought Parker was opposite Coles.
Just a hunch. McDougle seems like he is having a special camp. Parker as been OK, but McDougle has been the better run stuffer.
Not to mention he had the only sack of the night for the Birds.
51 yard game winning TD for Hunt. Maybe he keeps his job. Couple other post-game notes…I won’t put to much stock into this game due to the conditions it was played in, but…
1) Our passing game couldn’t get going despite the fact that 3/4 of Carolina’s starting secondary didn’t make the trip
2) Desean Jackson looks like he may be able to be a contributor on offense out of the box
3) Might want to give Jay Feely a call if Akers continues to struggle
I think Winston Justice gets the pink slip. (No word on whether he would pull a Charlie Sheen on Lou Brown locker room stunt, but there was word Osi ran by him and got in there first). Also, after last night did Hunt do enough to justify a spot and cut loose an aging (and more expensive) Correll Buckhalter. King Dunlap has outplayed Justice, not to mention he’s higher on the team depth chart. I also think unless last night’s TD grab saved him G-Lew is a goner. Either him or Avant.
1) Justince isnt going anywhere. 2nd round pick, cant admitt that mistake. Word is he has look good at RT.
2) Hunt is a long-shot, Buck is a LOCK. He has had a great camp and blocks much better then Hunt. Hunt helped himself, but keep in mind it was verse the 4th D of the Panthers on a wet field, I’d imagine in the 4th Q if you were playing last night its not looking good.
3) G-Lew aint going anywhere, R. Brown hurt and G-Lew is a good special teams player. He stays. Avant stays.
One guy who could be moved from this list is Rookie DE Bryan Smith, he could get moved to the practice squad and maybe Hunt makes it in that case. Studebaker and JR Reed are also on the bubble, Studebaker to practice squad, Reed to UPS.
Andy surprises us every year. Let’s see who the last dancer is without a partner when the roster is trimmed to 53. Also, other teams make cuts the Eagles may be interested in. As a version 1.0 i’ll agree in most areas. But……as stated above Reid has a habit of surprising us with a Trotter cut here and there (even though Trott was cooked last year anyways). Point is, a cut like him is common place for this regime, and the general public is always caught off guard, not people who exhaustivly follow them.
How bout Kris Wilson. He seems to be getting open in the pre-season, but the QB’s are just missing him (Kolb and Feeley). With LJ’s injury history I think the Birds carry 3 TE’s…or at least 2 with one on the practice squad.
Wilson is an intersting case, I dont know what to make of him. Had a slow start to camp, was dropping everything, now he is more consitent. Does he have to much ground to make up ?
i can see him in v2.0
